Some of the initiatives so far :-

• We have invested in a Continuous Batch Washers which uses significantly less water than the more traditional Washer Extractor.
• We recover the heat from the drain water from our CBW and use this to heat the feed and rinse water to the machine which has dramatically reduced our gas cost.
• The next stage of this process is to filter the drain water and reuse this to feed the CBW which will further reduce our water usage.
• We are constantly looking for ways to reduce our impact on the environment and plan to invest a further £200,000 in the current financial year on other projects which will continue to reduce our carbon footprint.
• This is a never ending process and lies at the heart of our business strategy
